Soft glass torchwork is a mesmerizing way to make art with molten glass. Using a special torch, artists heat up rods of the soft glass until they’re glowing and gooey, then shape them into beads, sculptures, and all kinds of colorful creations. Learn about a two-session class that will introduce the new glass workers to the world of bead making!

On the Light Festival’s opening night, Friday, February 7, 2025, Past Lives Makerspace will present “Sanctum”: A sanctuary of art, music, and creative storytelling” from 6 to 10 p.m. Past Lives’ collaborative, cross-category focus is open to the public.
